Dowel Rods

Dowel Rods, or God Rods, are just what you think they are, Dowel Rods. We take wooden (or acrylic) rods out in front of the stage and move them around to music. We will again take popular christian songs and move the dowel rods in formations that help illustrate the message behind the song. This looks really impressive when you have 8 people out in front of the stage doing the same motions in sync with each other. Also you can make large formations with multiple dowel rods.

Just because we like the effect of using blacklight so much, we will use blacklight here too. We will dress all the puppeteers doing the Dowel Rods in all black, and give them fluorescent dowels. This gives the effect of glowing sticks, floating in mid air, moving on their own will.
